Calming Things

Sometimes you need to do some things to calm down. University life can be something that’s very stressful. These are a few things I do to help with those everyday stresses!


Reading and writing is one of my favourite things to do. I bought this journal from to write down my thoughts and feelings. ‘A journal to reassure myself when I’m overwhelmed by the creeping sense of impending disaster.’ I find it really helpful to write everything out and get it all down.

Reading really helps to calm down too, I’ve really been enjoying this book called ‘thrive.’ It’s nice to take time out and read a book.


Pamper sessions are a good way to chill out. I’ve been loving the snow fairy products from Lush, they’re so good. The body conditioner is my favourite, it’s so moisturising and sparkly.


Knitting is a new favourite of mine, my nan recently taught me. I knitted my first scarf the other day! I plan on doing a few knitting blog posts too.
