It’s the start of a New Year and a new decade, I’m pleased to see January following my Christmas period being very busy and full of indulgence (mainly in the form of cheese). I am glad to be back into a routine and hitting the reset button.
I’m not one for resolutions, I am still the same as I was last week and I never usually stick to them, so instead of setting resolutions, I thought I would jot down some goals for the year, to hold myself accountable. I think it is really healthy to reflect on the past and how we can self-improve, I tend to do this monthly so I am sure the same goals will crop up throughout the year.
Read, read and read more. I set myself a reading challenge on Goodreads at the start of last year, I didn’t read anywhere near my goal and I was really disappointing in myself. So in 2020, I will be reading lots! At least once a week, I will have a date night with myself and a book.
Make improvements to my blog that I have been putting off. I want to make more time for my blog this year, there are things I need to do that I have been putting off for a while. Things that need to be done, in order for the blog to grow.
Learn at least 1 new skill. I’m not sure what this will be yet but I am keen to learn and try new things. Update – TBC!
I hope you enjoyed this post. 2020 will be the year of lots of content, so keep an eye out!
